The following points should be followed in daily maintenance:
- Do not remove the printhead from the main unit and leave it alone, especially under high temperature and low humidity conditions. If left for a long time, the water contained in the ink will gradually evaporate, and the dried ink will cause the nozzle to be blocked. If the nozzle is already blocked, it should be cleaned. If cleaning does not achieve the desired effect, replace the printhead with a new one.
- Avoid hitting the nozzle surface with your fingers and tools to prevent damage to the nozzle surface or blockage of the nozzle by debris, oil, etc. Do not blow air into the nozzle area, and do not get sweat, oil, medicine (alcohol), etc. on the nozzle, which will cause changes in the composition and viscosity of the ink and cause the ink to solidify and clog. Do not wipe the nozzle surface with tissue paper, lens paper, cloth, etc.
- It is best not to turn off the power while the printer is printing. You can first turn the printer to the OFF LINE state, and then turn off the power after the nozzle is capped, and finally unplug the plug. Otherwise, for some models of printers, the printer cannot perform the capping operation, and the nozzle is exposed to dry air, which will cause the ink to dry up.
